Job Description

Are you a skid loader operator who enjoys a variety of tasks, takes pride in your work and who wants to work on a team with others who do the same? B.R. Kreider & Son, Inc. is looking for a full-timeSKID LOADEROPERATOR. Qualified candidates should be able to operate a skid loader and attachments in a safe manner for accurate excavating and grading.

Responsibilities

• Operate skid loader and attachments in a safe manner
• Perform daily maintenance to the skid loader and attachments
• Properly use and care for small tools
• Follow job specifications and plans
• Knowledge of blueprints and cut sheets
• Work safely and communicate effectively with Operator's Assistant
• Set up lasers; understand and compute grade percentages
• Rake stone and shovel dirt to grade efficiently
• Pay attention to fine details
• Maintain accurate records of materials installed, stone, pipe equipment and time
• Understanding of types of aggregate
• Knowledge of loading and securing equipment on trailers
• Interact appropriately with customers and inspectors to ensure and promote positive company image

Experience & Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License required - CDL Class A License preferred
• 2 years of excavating experience
• Heavy equipment experience preferred
• Must be at least 18 years of age
