Job summary

DNOW is seeking a Shop Technician to perform tear downs, inspections, and repairs of customer equipment in our Wisconsin shop. You will follow documented procedures, maintain paperwork, and support other teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma, basic shop tools knowledge, ability to lift up to 40 lbs, and good communication skills. This role may require overtime beyond 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Mechanical aptitude that includes drills, grinders, and other shop tools.
• Ability to use, read and interpret a tape measure.
• Good communication skills (verbal and written).
• Organized; Detail-Oriented.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must be able to physically lift up to 40 lbs.
• Must have current, valid driver’s license and acceptable record at all times.

Responsibilities

• Tear down, inspect, diagnose and repair customer’s equipment.
• Maintain proper and accurate paperwork including completion of inspection documentation.
• Follow documented procedures and maintain a high degree of quality.
• Perform housekeeping, organization, and maintenance of work area and tools.
• Painting and sandblasting of product.
• Perform inspection of products using inspection equipment applicable to the task.
• In order to achieve business objectives, work weeks in excess of 40 hours may be required.
• Function as a team member and support other teams.
• Ensure company policies are followed.
• Other duties as assigned.

The Shop Technician is responsible for completing tear downs and repair of equipment during the day to day activities in the shop.
