Job summary

Sonsray is hiring a Shop Technician in Thatcher, AZ to diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of equipment, ensuring machines run efficiently to support daily operations.

The role requires at least 2 years of mechanical experience, preferably with construction or agricultural equipment. You will work independently, diagnose complex systems, and follow OEM procedures with attention to safety and quality. Welding is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of mechanical experience, preferably in construction or agricultural equipment service.
• Hands-on service experience with agricultural or heavy equipment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills across mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Welding and structural repair experience preferred.
• Familiarity with OEM service procedures and shop safety standards.
• Proficient with basic computer skills for job tracking and documentation.
• Safety and quality workmanship focused.
• Reliability, punctuality, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot engines, transmissions, hydraulics, and electrical systems.

Job Title: Shop Technician
Location: Thatcher, AZ
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary Range: $27.09-$37.68 hour DOE

Position Summary:

As a Shop Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of equipment and machinery. Your primary focus will be on ensuring that all equipment is working efficiently to support daily operations.

Responsibilities:

Diagnose and troubleshoot issues involving:

• Engines
• Transmissions
• Hydraulic systems
• Electrical systems
• Follow established OEM procedures and guidelines for all repairs and service tasks
• Complete accurate documentation and service reports using basic computer systems
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following proper safety protocols
• Apply safe and proper use of hand, pneumatic, and electric tools
• Perform additional functions or duties as assigned by management to support dealership objectives

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of mechanical experience, preferably in construction or agricultural equipment service.
• Hands-on experience servicing and repairing agricultural or heavy equipment
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Solid diagnostic and troubleshooting skills across mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems

• Familiarity with OEM service procedures and shop safety standards
• Proficient with basic computer skills for job tracking and documentation
• Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
