The successful candidate will have at least 2 years of mechanical experience, hands-on work with agricultural or heavy equipment, and strong diagnostic skills across mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems. This position requires safe work practices, reliability, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of mechanical experience, preferably with construction or agricultural equipment service.
• Hands-on experience servicing and repairing agricultural or heavy equipment.
• Solid diagnostic and troubleshooting skills across mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot engines, transmissions, hydraulics, electrical and structural components.
• Follow OEM procedures for repairs and service tasks.
• Document service reports using basic computer systems.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and proper tool usage.
• Perform additional duties as needed to support dealership objectives.

As a Shop Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of equipment and machinery. Your primary focus will be on ensuring that all equipment is working efficiently to support daily operations.

Job Title: Shop Technician

Location: Thatcher, AZ

Job Type: Full-Time

Salary Range: $27.09-$37.68 hour DOE

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues involving:
• Engines
• Transmissions
• Hydraulic systems
• Electrical systems
• Structural components, including welding
• Follow established OEM procedures and guidelines for all repairs and service tasks
• Complete accurate documentation and service reports using basic computer systems
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following proper safety protocols
• Apply safe and proper use of hand, pneumatic, and electric tools
• Perform additional functions or duties as assigned by management to support dealership objectives

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of mechanical experience, preferably in construction or agricultural equipment service.
• Hands-on experience servicing and repairing agricultural or heavy equipment
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Solid diagnostic and troubleshooting skills across mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
• Welding and structural repair experience is highly preferred
• Familiarity with OEM service procedures and shop safety standards
• Proficient with basic computer skills for job tracking and documentation
• Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
• Must be reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
