Shop Supervisor Requirements

• At least 3 years' experience operating and repairing tractors (class 8) and trailers (air brakes).
• A minimum of 3 years of management or supervision experience is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with TMT/Transman is a benefit.
• Valid driver's license required; CDL A preferred.

Primary Job Duties and Expectations

• Manage daily shop activities.
• Assign work schedules and workloads effectively to ensure uninterrupted service.
• Provide effective inventory management.
• Troubleshoot repairs and determine cost-effective solutions for repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Develop logical, safe, and efficient solutions to support the operation's growth.
• Work in all weather conditions.
• Train, coach, and supervise shop mechanics and parts support staff.
• Participate in hiring and disciplinary processes.
• Provide feedback on shop activity and objectives.
• Ensure compliance with all safety requirements, including safety equipment use.
