Shop Supervisor - Paid Vacation & Holidays

Freehold Cartage is seeking an experienced Shop Supervisor in Sumter, SC. Join our dynamic team and enjoy comprehensive benefits including paid vacation and holidays, medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401K with profit sharing, and life insurance.

• Manage day-to-day shop activities, ensuring effective work schedules and workloads.
• Provide accurate inventory management and troubleshoot repairs cost-effectively.
• Develop safe, logical, and efficient solutions to support company growth.
• Train, coach, and supervise shop mechanics and parts support staff.
• Participate in hiring and disciplinary processes.
• Ensure compliance with safety requirements, including the use of safety equipment.

Requirements include at least 3 years of experience operating and repairing Class 8 tractors and trailers with air brakes, management or supervision experience preferred, high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver’s license (CDL A preferred). Experience with TMT/Transman is a plus.
