Shop Supervisor Requirements

• 3 years' experience operating and repairing tractor (class 8), and trailer (air brakes).
• A minimum of 3 years of management or supervision preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with TMT/Transman is a benefit.
• Must have a valid driver's license and be able to move equipment when needed (CDL A preferred).

Primary Job Duties and Expectations

• Manage daily shop activities.
• Ensure effective work schedules and workloads for uninterrupted service.
• Provide accurate inventory management.
• Troubleshoot repairs and determine cost-effective solutions for repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Develop safe and efficient solutions to support the company's growth.
• Work in all weather conditions.
• Train, coach, and supervise shop mechanics and parts support staff.
• Participate in hiring and discipline processes.
• Provide feedback on shop activities and objectives.
• Ensure compliance with all safety requirements, including safety equipment use.
