Shop Supervisor Requirements

• At least 3 years' experience operating and repairing tractor (class 8) and trailer (air brakes).
• Preferably 3+ years of management or supervision experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with TMT/Transman is a plus.
• Valid driver's license required; ability to move equipment when needed (CDL A preferred).

Primary Job Duties and Expectations

• Manage daily shop activities effectively.
• Ensure work schedules and workloads are properly assigned to maintain service continuity.
• Maintain accurate inventory management.
• Troubleshoot repairs, determining cost-effective solutions for repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Support the company's growth by developing safe and efficient solutions.
• Work in all weather conditions.
• Train, coach, and supervise shop mechanics and parts support staff.
• Participate in hiring and disciplinary processes.
• Provide feedback on shop activities and objectives.
• Ensure compliance with all safety requirements, including the use of safety equipment.
