Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year related mechanical experience or training.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, manuals, and procedures; write routine reports.

Responsibilities

• Review work orders with Dispatcher/Planner to diagnose and plan repairs.
• Perform mechanical repairs after inspection and approval by supervisor.
• Document repair descriptions with correct model, serial numbers, and hour meters.
• Inspect safety devices and adjust as needed; lubricate and test repaired units.
• Ensure final quality inspection and readiness for return to service.
• Submit time cards and paperwork daily; provide progress data to management.
• Coordinate shop workflow and communicate quotes for in-shop work.
• Guide technicians when needed and ensure proper documentation throughout the repair process.
• Communicate with customers on job status and confirm maintenance performed.
• Finalize shop work orders before invoicing and handle any additional tasks assigned by management.
