Equipment Depot, Inc. is seeking a field service technician to repair and maintain electric, diesel, and gasoline industrial trucks and equipment.

You will read work orders, diagnose problems, communicate with customers, and perform mechanical repairs after a thorough inspection. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 1–3 months of related experience, the ability to interpret manuals, and a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 months related experience or training.
• Ability to interpret maintenance instructions and manuals.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Comfort with basic math and record keeping.

Responsabilités

• Read work orders and observe truck operation to diagnose malfunctions.
• Provide repair estimates and communicate with customers about needs and completed work.
• Perform mechanical repairs after inspection and analysis of breakdowns.
• Record complete repair descriptions, including model and serial numbers.
• Record hour meter readings and obtain customer signatures.
• Examine safety devices and belts, lubricate moving parts, and verify repairs with testing.
• Submit time cards daily and coordinate with service manager on maintenance.
