Job summary

Xylem, a Fortune 500 global water solutions company, seeks a shop service leader in Houston, onsite. You will supervise, schedule, and coach staff while ensuring safety and quality on repairs in a dynamic environment.

The role requires 2-3 years of supervisory experience and 3-5 years of submersible pump experience, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and asset systems. Occasional field work and a strong safety focus are essential.

Qualifications

• GED or High School Diploma; technical degree preferred.
• 2-3 years’ supervisory experience.
• 3-5 years of submersible pump experience required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and asset systems.
• Waste Water System experience and pump experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Safety: ensure PPE use and safety trainings; promote safety culture.
• Staff Leadership: hire, develop, supervise and coach staff; implement training program.
• Scope Delivery: coordinate with project sales/operations to deliver scope; manage field staff.
• Internal and External Communication: inform stakeholders of repair activities and risks.
• Quality Management: ensure QA/QC across repairs; analyze data and implement corrective actions.
• Support corporate initiatives (Watermark, reporting, kaizens).
