Job summary

MacAllister Machinery Company, Inc. is seeking a qualified leader to direct and manage the day-to-day service operations at a shop and/or field location in Michigan.

You will coordinate workflow, ensure staffing, and maintain safety compliance while guiding a team of technicians. The ideal candidate has 2–3 years in a lead or supervisory role with diesel technology expertise, preferably with Caterpillar equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational diesel training preferred.
• 2-3 years in a lead or supervisory role.
• 5+ years diesel technology experience preferred, ideally Caterpillar.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of engine systems.
• Familiarity with safety standards and warranty procedures.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage day-to-day service operations at a shop and/or field location.
• Meet safety goals and promote a safe work environment.
• Oversee hiring, discipline, and performance evaluations of staff.
• Ensure compliance with corporate standards and procedures.
