MacAllister Machinery Co., Inc. seeks a Supervising Technician to lead a shop-based team of technicians, ensuring safe, efficient operations and clear communication with customers and colleagues.

You will schedule technicians, review safety and performance reports, assist with basic invoicing questions, and monitor job progress to keep service on track. The ideal candidate has 4+ years of heavy equipment service experience and strong initiative, communication, and ERP proficiency.

Formación

• High-school diploma or GED required.
• 4+ years of heavy equipment service and repair experience.
• Basic understanding of work-order, inventory, or ERP software (DBS, SAP).

Responsabilidades

• Supervises, directs, motivates and leads technicians.
• Oversee day-to-day service operations in the shop, ensuring safety and efficiency.
• Schedule shop technicians and allocate resources for priority jobs.
• Review injury and near-miss reports; lead safety talks.
• Open work orders; verify labor and parts; answer basic invoicing questions.
• Answer phones and provide status updates on repairs.
• Coordinate parts and track technician timecards for payroll.
• Monitor job progress and flag delays or shortages for the Service Manager.
• Maintain tidy work areas and shop housekeeping.
• Support warranty paperwork, returns, and core tracking as needed.
