Apparatus Repair & Engineering, Inc. is seeking a Shop Service & Operations Assistant to support the Shop Foreman and management.

You’ll help move jobs from initial customer call through quoting, repair, testing, and delivery in a small, hands-on industrial repair environment. The role emphasizes organization, communication with customers and vendors, and coordinating parts, scheduling, and paperwork to keep operations moving efficiently.

Qualifications

• Must be organized, with strong follow-up skills.
• Excellent communication with customers and vendors.
• Ability to multitask and coordinate multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and follow up on customer quotes.
• Discuss repair status, estimates, scheduling, and approvals with customers.
• Coordinate pricing, availability, and lead times with vendors.
• Purchase parts, materials, and outside services as needed.
• Schedule incoming and outgoing jobs and track status.
• Keep customer and job paperwork organized and complete.
• Coordinate pickups and deliveries and assist with special projects.
