Job summary

Goforth Williamson, Inc. in Griffin, Georgia is seeking an experienced Shop Mechanic to work closely with Engineers on the repair of industrial/municipal pumps.

You will disassemble/assemble pumps, measure parts for inspection reports, clean parts, and assist in maintaining documentation. Reading micrometers and other measuring tools is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience reading micrometers and measuring equipment.
• Experience with industrial pump repair preferred.

GWI is looking for an experienced Shop Mechanic.

You will be working closely with Engineers in the repair of industrial/municipal pumps.

The ability to read micrometers and other measuring equipment will be an added benefit to this position.

Daily duties may include but not limited to the following:

• Disassembly/Assembly industrial pumps while completing inspection reports for the Engineering department.
• Measure all required parts for inspection reports
• Clean all parts and inform Engineering department of items that need to be replaced.
• Daily cleanup activities assigned by manager.
