Job summary

Goforth Williamson is seeking an experienced Shop Mechanic to support our pump repair operations in Griffin, GA. You will work closely with engineers in the repair of industrial and municipal pumps, performing disassembly and assembly, and contributing to quality inspections.

Responsibilities include measuring parts with micrometers and other gauges, documenting inspection results, cleaning parts, and coordinating with the Engineering department.

Qualifications

  • Experience repairing industrial/municipal pumps.
  • Ability to read micrometers and other measuring equipment.
  • Familiar with preparing inspection reports.

Responsibilities

  • Disassemble/assemble industrial pumps and complete inspection reports for Engineering.
  • Measure all required parts for inspection reports.
  • Clean all parts and inform Engineering of items that need replacement.
  • Daily cleanup activities as directed by manager.
  • Support growth and contribute to team success.

Job Description

GWI is looking for an experienced Shop Mechanic.

You will be working closely with Engineers in the repair of industrial/municipal pumps.

The ability to read micrometers and other measuring equipment will be an added benefit to this position.

Daily duties may include but not limited to the following:

  • Disassembly/Assembly industrial pumps while completing inspection reports for the Engineering department.
  • Measure all required parts for inspection reports
  • Clean all parts and inform Engineering department of items that need to be replaced.
  • Daily cleanup activities assigned by manager.
