Goforth Williamson is seeking an experienced Shop Mechanic to support our pump repair operations in Griffin, GA. You will work closely with engineers in the repair of industrial and municipal pumps, performing disassembly and assembly, and contributing to quality inspections.
Responsibilities include measuring parts with micrometers and other gauges, documenting inspection results, cleaning parts, and coordinating with the Engineering department.
In February of 2004, two mechanical engineers teamed together to form Goforth Williamson, Inc. With over 30 years of rotating equipment experience between them, Travis and David focused on developing GWI into a customer-oriented service company. Since that time, GWI has grown to a company with over 50 full-time employees. The employees of GWI are specialists in their fields. They have a vast knowledge of pumping equipment and the applications they are used in. The employees have experience from Original Equipment Manufacturers, motor shops, contractors, machine shops and other rotating equipment repair facilities.

GWI is looking for an experienced Shop Mechanic.
