Salt & Sundry is hiring a Shop Manager in Washington, DC. You will lead a tight-knit team on the retail floor, craft engaging customer experiences, and drive sales through coaching and storytelling.

Responsibilities include hiring and training, maintaining an inspiring shop environment, and managing daily operations and inventory via Shopify and Stocky. The role demands strong communication, adaptability, and a passion for independent makers.

Qualifications

• Full-time 40 hour/week position.
• Availability to work at all locations as needed.
• Flexible availability with evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead shop team with clear customer service expectations and training.
• Foster a welcoming, service-focused environment for customers and staff.
• Manage hiring and onboarding of new employees in partnership with Store Director.
• Oversee inventory transfers and stock levels in Shopify and Stocky.
• Collaborate with creative team on seasonal displays and promotions.
