J and R Property Services is seeking a skilled Shop Manager to diagnose, repair, and maintain a fleet of heavy equipment, trucks, and related tools. You will lead maintenance scheduling, manage parts inventory, and ensure safety standards are followed.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of relevant mechanical experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver's license. Strong diagnostic skills and teamwork are essential for optimal fleet reliability year-round.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of relevant mechanical experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to read technical manuals and interpret diagnostic data.

Responsabilités

• Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on heavy and compact equipment (Kubota tractors, loaders, skid steers).
• Conduct small engine repairs on mowers, snow blowers, trimmers, and other commercial-grade tools.
• Diagnose and repair light- and medium-duty trucks, including brakes, hydraulics, electrical systems, and preventative maintenance.
• Utilize computer-based diagnostic tools for troubleshooting and repair documentation.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop environment in compliance with company safety standards.
• Order parts and track inventory to ensure efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with managers and crew leaders to prioritize repair schedules and keep equipment in optimal condition.
