We are seeking a reliable Locksmith to join our team in a full-time, in-house position. As a Shop Locksmith, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service while addressing their various needs. Your responsibilities will include greeting customers, processing transactions, promoting and selling safes, accurately cutting keys, and offering expert assistance with a range of locksmith services within our shop. This is a stationary, in-house role and does not involve any field work.

Responsibilities:

·Warmly greet and assist walk-in customers, understanding their needs and providing appropriate solutions.

·Accurately process sales transactions using our point-of-sale system.

·Actively promote and sell a variety of safes and security products to meet customer requirements.

·Precisely cut a wide range of keys, ensuring accuracy and functionality.

·Provide expert advice and assistance with lock repairs, rekeying, and other in-shop locksmith services.

·Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workspace.

·Answer phone inquiries professionally and work with Dispatch Team to schedule appointments as needed.

·Stay up-to-date on the latest locksmithing techniques, tools, and security products.

·Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

·Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.

Qualifications:

·Experience as a Locksmith is required.

·Excellent customer service and communication skills.

·Proficiency in key cutting and basic lock servicing.

·Sales aptitude with the ability to effectively present and sell products.

·Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

·Ability to handle cash and process transactions efficiently.

·Basic computer skills.

·Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

About Us: Easter’s Lock & Security Solutions has been the trusted name in physical security for over 70 years and is the largest independently owned provider in the Mid-Atlantic region. Easter’s has (1) physical storefront which we have remained in for 30+ years. In a typical day, we can have anywhere from 1-6 customers in the shop at a time.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
