Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • FAA Mechanic Certificate with both Airframe and Powerplant ratings.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Certified Aircraft Mechanic, with experience in maintenance, sheet metal repairs, and/or avionics troubleshooting.
  • Must live within 60 miles of primary base.
  • Travel between bases is required.
  • Basic communication and computer skills.
  • Ability to pass physical exams, drug screening, and background check.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds.
  • Flexibility to travel frequently and work varying schedules, including night shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on helicopters to ensure airworthiness and safety.
  • Conduct troubleshooting, repairs, and overhauls, including sheet metal repairs and avionics troubleshooting.
  • Follow FAA regulations and company maintenance policies.
  • Document all maintenance actions and ensure compliance with technical publications.
