Job summary

Call Your Mother is seeking a Shop Leader to guide daily operations from open to close at our Bethesda location. You will lead shifts, coach teammates, and ensure exceptional hospitality for every guest who walks through our doors.

You’ll balance hands-on leadership with hands-on work alongside the Front of House team, upholding food safety, recipes, and operational standards while building a positive, inclusive shop culture.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of leadership experience as a Shift Leader or similar restaurant leadership role.
• Love hospitality and keeping cool under pressure while guiding a busy shift.
• ServSafe Manager Food Safety Certification required or willing to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily shop operations from opening through closing while upholding high standards.
• Provide clear leadership during shifts to keep service efficient and the team performing.
• Create memorable guest experiences by modeling hospitality and resolving concerns with care.
• Coach and develop team members through feedback and training.
• Maintain recipes, checklists, and food safety standards; follow procedures.
• Resolve problems quickly and adapt to keep the shop running smoothly.
