Job summary

Aggreko plc is seeking a Shop Technician 1 or 2 Temp Control based in Santa Fe Springs, CA. You will perform preventive maintenance and repairs on electrical distribution equipment, HVAC, and oil-free air compressors, with opportunities to work solo or with a team in the shop.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma/GED and 7+ years of experience with power generators or commercial HVAC equipment, including reading schematics and calculating tonnage/KW requirements.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 7+ years of experience with power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment.
• Ability to read schematics and calculate tonnage/kW requirements.

Responsibilities

• Base location at Santa Fe Springs, CA service center.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment and oil-free air compressors.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures at the shop.
• Operate equipment in the shop solo or with a team.
