Job summary

Aggreko plc is seeking a Shop Technician 1 or 2 Temp Control in Santa Fe Springs, CA. The role focuses on maintenance and repair of electrical distribution equipment, HVAC systems, and oil-free air compressors, with both shop and field work possibilities.

You will need 7+ years' experience with power generators or commercial HVAC equipment, ability to read schematics, and a valid driver’s license. Occasional overtime and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience working on power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment.
• Experience with calculating nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements, along with reading schematics.
• May be required to obtain and maintain a TWIC card or valid DOT medical card
• Valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 60–75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Based in Santa Fe Springs, CA service center.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs of electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment and/or oil-free air compressors.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures at the shop.
• Operate equipment in the shop or out on site as part of a team.
