Job summary

Aggreko in Dallas, TX seeks a Technician 2 Temp Control/Power to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on electrical distribution equipment, HVAC systems, and oil-free air compressors. You may work alone or with a team at the shop or on customer sites.

Responsibilities include diagnosing failures, reading schematics, and ensuring equipment operates safely. Requires 7+ years on generators/HVAC, plus TWIC/DOT card as needed and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• 7+ years of experience working on power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment.
• Ability to read schematics and calculate nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements.
• May be required to obtain and maintain a TWIC card or valid DOT medical card.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Must be able to lift up to 60–80 lbs and perform physical tasks as described.

Responsibilities

• Based in the Dallas, TX service center.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs of electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment and/or oil-free air compressors.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures at the shop.
• Work solo or with a team to set up and operate equipment in the shop.
