Job summary

Mechanics Hub in Yonkers, NY seeks a Diesel Shop Foreman with 4+ years of heavy truck repair experience and 2+ years in a supervisory role. You will lead a team of technicians, triage and diagnose, and manage repair times and work orders to maintain smooth shop operations.

Fluent English and basic Spanish are required. Starting pay is $40-50/hr, with full benefits and a boot reimbursement program. Day shift: 7:00 AM–4:30 PM, Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of technical repair experience as a Heavy Truck Mechanic.
• 2+ years in a Lead/Supervisory role.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Expertise with advanced Detroit engine and electrical diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Lead a shop of junior and senior technicians.
• Triage, diagnose, and repair heavy trucks (quick fixes).
• Report to Service Manager on shop and technician status.
• Manage repair times and work order flow.
• Test drive trucks for drivability issues.
• Communicate repair expectations to the techs on the floor.
