Requirements include 5+ years as a heavy diesel mechanic with 2+ years in a lead role, CMMS proficiency, and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of heavy diesel mechanic experience across engines, hydraulics, electrical, and driveline.
• 2+ years in a lead or foreman capacity, coaching techs and closing work orders.
• Proficiency with scan tools, service literature, schematics, and CMMS.
• Ability to read technical drawings and OEM repair procedures.
• Valid driver's license with clean MVR and ability to pass screening.
• Microsoft Office knowledge: Excel, Word, Outlook.

Responsabilités

• Perform and direct heavy diesel diagnostics, repairs, and rebuilds.
• Support floor mechanics with triage, troubleshooting, and repair strategy.
• Maintain yellow iron equipment and support vehicles; ensure quality work.
• Verify repair quality via road-test and functional test; ensure accurate records.
• Execute PM schedules; drive root-cause analysis for repeats.
• Maintain tool control, shop housekeeping, and safety procedures.
• Assign technicians to work orders based on skills and parts availability.
• Train mechanics on diagnostics, repair practices, and documentation.
• Monitor labor utilization and productivity; balance urgent vs planned work.
• Act as lead in absence of Maintenance Manager; approve completions.
• Update work orders in CMMS; record labor, parts, and notes.
• Maintain service records, inspection logs, and compliance files.
