Job summary

Crain Kia of Fayetteville | High-Volume Service Department seeks a Service Operations Coordinator to keep the shop moving in real time. You will dispatch repair orders, track status, and coordinate with technicians, parts, and management to prevent delays and ensure work flows efficiently.

This role rewards proactive problem-solving and ownership, with opportunities to lead operations and improve shop throughput in a busy environment.

Qualifications

Service Operations Coordinator (Shop Flow Manager)

We are not looking for a traditional service advisor.

We are hiring a Service Operations Coordinator — someone who can control the flow of a fast-moving shop, manage multiple jobs at once, and ensure nothing gets stuck, missed, or delayed.

If you’ve worked in dispatch, logistics, fleet maintenance, manufacturing scheduling, or a high-volume service environment, this role will feel familiar.

What You’ll Own (This is not a passive role)

You are responsible for keeping the shop moving — at all times.

• Dispatch and prioritize repair orders based on technician skill and workload


• Track the status of every vehicle in the shop (nothing sits unnoticed)


• Follow up with technicians in real time — not at the end of the day


• Identify bottlenecks and solve them before they become problems


• Coordinate with parts, advisors, and management to keep workflow efficient


• Ensure work is completed in the right order, at the right time, by the right person


• Hold the standard on urgency, communication, and execution
