Job summary

Terberg Taylor Americas Manufacturing in Columbus, Mississippi seeks a Training Coordinator to lead hands-on workplace training, improve quality, safety, and productivity on the production floor. You will partner with Production, Process Engineering, Quality, and Safety teams to ensure training standards and compliance with work instructions.

You will deliver onboarding and ongoing development, maintain records, and help reduce defects through effective knowledge transfer.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• At least 3 years manufacturing training or workforce development experience.
• Experience delivering hands-on technical training in a manufacturing setting preferred.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety practices.
• Experience with training records management and skills matrices.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage shop floor training across departments.
• Deliver hands-on training for new hires and transfers.
• Facilitate orientation and basic skills training for new employees.
• Track progress toward qualification and certification goals.
• Maintain training plans aligned with production schedules.
• Audit training records and ensure compliance with work instructions and safety requirements.
• Support improvement initiatives to reduce defects and inefficiencies.
• Maintain training materials and ensure accessibility for staff.
