Job summary

Terberg Taylor Americas seeks a Production Supervisor to lead daily manufacturing operations, ensuring safe and high-quality production of finished units. You will supervise Team Leaders and hourly staff while coordinating with Quality, Engineering, Material Handling, Logistics, Maintenance, and Production Planning to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly targets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of manufacturing experience in automotive, heavy equipment, or similar assembly environments.
• Prior leadership experience as a Team Leader or Supervisor is preferred.
• Strong understanding of SQDCM: Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Morale.
• Experience managing hourly manufacturing employees.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions, schedules, and drawings.
• Proficient in safety, quality, delivery, cost, and morale principles.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily leadership and direction for assigned production areas and personnel.
• Ensure safety, quality, and productivity standards are met.
• Lead daily startup meetings covering safety, priorities, staffing, and expectations.
• Monitor production performance and address barriers to output.
• Ensure adherence to standardized work and manufacturing processes.
• Maintain compliance with safety policies and regulatory requirements.
• Identify unsafe conditions and promote a culture of safety.
• Assign manpower and adjust resources to meet changing production needs.
• Coordinate with Production Planning to ensure schedule adherence.
• Collaborate with Maintenance to minimize downtime and with Quality to address defects.
• Support Lean initiatives and continuous-improvement efforts on the line.
