Job summary

Nikkiso Clean Energy and Industrial Gases is seeking a Production Shop Manager to lead multiple production, fabrication and assembly teams. The role focuses on production planning, directing groups to meet goals, while upholding safety, quality, schedules and cost targets.

The Manager will collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Procurement to develop schedules, manage change, and allocate labor and capital.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, industrial or related engineering discipline or equivalent.
• Minimum ten years’ experience in manufacturing operations in an industrial equipment manufacturing environment with a minimum of five years of management experience.
• Well verse on ASME B31.3 Process Piping and B31 Section VIII Pressure Vessel requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective team leadership during times of change and production ramp up.
• Direct and monitor production/fabrication/assembly teams to meet schedules, safety and quality standards.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities with Safety, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Procurement to optimize resources and costs.
• Drive KPI’s across production/assembly to ensure on-time delivery and budget adherence.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Communicate changes and impacts of new technologies to stakeholders while maintaining quality and service.
