Job summary

VIVA Railings designs and manufactures architectural metal and glass railing systems for commercial construction across the U.S. The Production Team Lead oversees daily shop floor operations in a discrete manufacturing environment, ensuring schedules are met safely, efficiently, and with high quality.

You will lead production associates, coordinate workflow, and serve as the first line of communication between management and the team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in discrete manufacturing, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
• Lead and motivate a team of production associates to achieve daily output goals.
• Ensure production activities align with work instructions, quality standards, and safety protocols.
• Perform in-process checks to verify product quality.
• Train new employees on processes, equipment, and safety.
• Track and report daily production metrics (output, scrap, downtime).

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team on daily shop floor operations.
• Coordinate workflow and communicate priorities between management and team.
• Monitor equipment and resolve bottlenecks to maintain flow.
• Ensure safety compliance with ISO/lean standards.
• Drive continuous improvement through lean initiatives.
• Report production metrics and issues to supervisors.
