Job summary

Lapeyre Stair Inc. seeks a Production Lead to guide on-shift manufacturing operations and champion lean processes. You will direct production personnel, ensure safety and quality, and collaborate with management on staffing and performance efforts.

The role emphasizes coaching, mentorship, and a continuous improvement mindset, with daily interaction on the plant floor. This position is on-site at our facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Strong communication and supervisory abilities.
• Willingness to coach, mentor and develop people.
• Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct production personnel on shift.
• Provide on-shift workflow direction to the factory team.
• Actively lead plant safety, housekeeping, and lean manufacturing programs.
• Develop and maintain high standards for finished goods quality.
• Manage shift labor resources and coordinate staffing with Production Manager.
• Provide real-time feedback to Production Manager and participate in reviews.
• Holds staff accountable for policies and procedures.
• Identify training opportunities and promote continuous improvement.
• Position must be performed at the facility.
