Job summary

Qualifications

• Three to five years of progressively responsible equipment service, repair, or maintenance experience.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diagnostic systems.
• Ability to lead by example on the shop floor and manage multiple jobs in a fast-paced service environment.
• Proficiency with service/work order/dealership management systems.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily shop floor activity, assigning and prioritizing work orders based on technician skill level, workload, labor capacity, and parts availability.
• Perform hands-on diagnostics, repairs, reconditioning, and equipment setup with the team.
• Monitor job progress and adjust assignments to keep work orders on schedule.
• Coordinate with Parts to confirm parts availability and avoid delays.
• Review repairs and testing for accuracy before closing work orders.
• Represent the company professionally when interacting with customers on the shop floor.
• Mentor technicians and apprentices to improve skills and efficiency.
• Ensure safety policies and proper PPE usage are followed on the floor.
