Job summary

Vermeer Great Plains in Oklahoma seeks a Shop Foreman to coordinate and lead skilled repairs of equipment, delivering excellent customer service and maintaining complete, up-to-date records.

The role requires an Associate degree in a related field, 5+ years of technician experience, leadership experience, and relevant Vermeer certifications; you'll guide technicians, manage workflow, and ensure safety and quality across the service department.

Qualifications

• Must have a strong leadership background and the ability to supervise a shop team.
• Extensive mechanical/technical aptitude with experience in diagnosing and repairing heavy equipment.
• Experience with hydraulic systems, electrical/electronics, and calibration is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and direct skilled repairs and maintenance of equipment.
• Prioritize equipment and shop repairs to maintain workflow.
• Assign work to technicians based on skill level and track progress.
• Perform final quality inspections on repairs and ensure deadlines are met.
• Enforce health and safety policies and maintain safe work environment.
• Provide daily shop progress reports to management.
