Job summary

MGX Equipment Services in Denver seeks Shop Crane Technicians to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain mobile cranes and boom trucks; this role reports to the Service Manager.

The position offers a $2,500 sign-on bonus after 90 days, tool reimbursement up to $1,500 per year, and relocation assistance may be available. A full-time schedule is typical, with growth and training opportunities provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 2+ years of crane mechanic experience.
• Experience with Grove RT & TMS; Grove GMK; Manitowoc EPIC or traditional cranes.
• Ability to read electrical and hydraulic schematics.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Valid driver's license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and perform thorough inspection of cranes to diagnose defects.
• Diagnose, repair and troubleshoot mobile hydraulic and lattice cranes; repair hydraulic and electrical components.
• Read and interpret operating and parts manuals, blueprints and drawings.
• Test mechanical, electronic, electrical and hydraulic systems after repair to OEM specs.
• Prepare parts and drawings for jobs with accuracy.
• Perform thorough annual inspections.
• Complete reports, hours and expense records accurately.
• Work independently with minimal supervision and provide customer service.
• Other duties as assigned.
