Job summary

MGX Equipment Services, LLC Kansas branch is hiring an entry-level Shop Crane Technician trainee reporting to the Service Manager. Under supervision you’ll learn basic crane-related duties, assist with inspections and repairs, and help ensure tools and equipment are in good working order.

This full-time role offers a $2,500 sign-on bonus after 90 days, up to $1,500 per calendar year for the Tool Reimbursement Program, and a structured training plan with clear growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; general laborer/yard experience preferred.
• Mechanical background with electrical and hydraulics knowledge.
• Self-starter motivated to advance and provide good customer service.
• Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record.
• Cross-training travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Under guidance, learns Shop Crane Technician duties and assignments.
• Assists shop techs with inspections and repairs.
• Inspects tools and equipment to ensure proper working order.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
