Job summary

MGX Equipment Services in Nashville is seeking a Shop Crane Technician trainee who will learn under the Service Manager and shop technicians. The role involves assisting with inspections, repairs, and equipment checks, while developing essential hands-on skills in electrical and hydraulic systems.

The position is full-time, with hours 7:00 am–6:00 pm, potential overtime, and a $25.00–$30.00 hourly pay. A $4,500 sign-on bonus and a $1,500 annual tool reimbursement are offered, plus benefits from

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• General laborer/yard work in construction or heavy equipment preferred.
• Mechanical background with electrical and hydraulics experience.
• Self-starter with initiative and customer service focus.
• Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record.
• May travel to other locations for cross-training.

Responsibilities

• Under guidance of the Service Manager and shop technicians, learns the responsibilities of a Shop Crane Technician.
• Helps shop technicians perform inspections and repairs.
• Inspects tools and equipment to ensure they are in working order.
• Other duties as assigned.
