Job summary

MGX Equipment Services, LLC is seeking a skilled Crane Technician for the Nashville, TN branch. You will inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain a range of crane equipment including mobile and lattice cranes, ensuring OEM compliance and quality workmanship.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years as a mechanic/technician and can read electrical/hydraulic schematics. The role offers advancement opportunities and a strong focus on safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required with at least 2 years of Mechanic/Technician experience.
• Experience with mobile cranes (Grove RT/TMS, GMK, Manitowoc EPIC or traditional cranes) preferred.
• Ability to read electrical and hydraulic schematics.

Responsibilities

• Inspect cranes to diagnose defects and ensure proper operation.
• Repair and troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical components.
• Read blueprints and manuals; interpret drawings and specs.
• Test equipment after repair to OEM specs.
• Fill out reports, time sheets, and expense docs accurately.
• Work independently with minimal supervision and provide excellent customer service.
