MGX Equipment Services in Norfolk, VA is seeking a trainee Shop Crane Technician to learn under the Service Manager and assist with inspections and repairs. This full-time role includes a $2,500 sign-on bonus after 90 days and eligibility for a Tool Reimbursement Program up to $1,500 per year.

You will be guided to perform basic tasks, inspect equipment, and contribute to a safe, efficient shop environment while developing essential skills and a clear career path.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience as general laborer or yard worker in construction or heavy equipment preferred.
• Mechanical background with electrical and hydraulic experience.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Willingness to travel for cross-training.

Responsabilités

• Under the guidance of the Service Manager and other shop technicians, assumes basic job assignments to learn the responsibilities of a Shop Crane Technician.
• Helps shop techs perform inspections and repairs.
• Inspects tools and equipment to ensure they are in working order.
• Other duties as assigned.
