Job summary

Baxter Subaru Omaha is looking for a Shop Assistant to help manage vehicle flow, service delivery, and daily operations in the service department. You will assist with coordinating repairs, delivering vehicles and parts to technicians, and supporting the service team to ensure a smooth experience for guests.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid driver’s license to operate a motor vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate vehicle flow to ensure vehicles are moved, serviced, and delivered on schedule.
• Assist with dispatching repair orders, deliver vehicles and parts to technicians.
• Support the Shop Foreman and Internal Advisor with daily service department activities.
• Perform final vehicle inspections to ensure delivery readiness and quality standards.
• Greet customers in the service drive and connect them with an advisor.
• Assist with porter duties, including vehicle movement and lot organization.
• Help maintain smooth communication and workflow between advisors, technicians, and management.
• Support Service Manager with operational and customer service initiatives.
