Job summary

Baxter Subaru Omaha is seeking a Shop Assistant to help coordinate vehicle flow, support dispatching repair orders, and assist technicians and advisors in daily service activities.

You will participate in final inspections, greet customers, and help keep the service drive organized, ensuring timely, high-quality deliveries and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid driver’s license to operate a motor vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate vehicle flow to ensure vehicles are moved, serviced, and delivered on schedule.
• Assist with dispatching repair orders, deliver vehicles and parts to technicians.
• Support the Shop Foreman and Internal Advisor with daily service department activities.
• Perform final vehicle inspections to ensure delivery readiness and quality standards.
• Greet customers in the service drive and connect them with an advisor.
• Assist with porter duties, including vehicle movement and lot organization.
• Help maintain smooth communication and workflow between advisors, technicians, and management.
• Support Service Manager with operational and customer service initiatives.
