Job summary

At Baxter Subaru Omaha, we seek a Service Advisor to greet guests, answer calls, set appointments, and help identify mechanical problems through questions, inspections, or road tests. You’ll prepare repair orders with time, cost and labor estimates, describe concerns to help the technician locate issues, and clearly explain work and charges to customers.

Requirements include being 18+, valid driver’s license, and customer service experience; service advising or automotive experience is strongly

Customer service experience required.
Service advising or automotive experience strongly preferred.
Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Greet and assist guests, answer phone calls, and assist with setting appointments.
Identify a mechanical problem by asking investigative questions or by performing a visual inspection and/or road test.
Confer with customers about inspection results, recommend corrective procedures, and prepare work orders for needed repairs.
Prepare a repair order showing time, cost and labor estimates for service.
Explain the work performed and the repair order charges to the customer.
Resolve customer concerns in an effective manner.
