Job summary

Famous Footwear in Omaha, NE seeks a motivated Retail Associate to support daily store operations and deliver exceptional customer experiences. You’ll handle pricing, shipments, inventory and keep the store clean and organized so popular styles are easy to find.

You will engage customers, recommend shoes, and help meet sales targets while upholding brand standards. The role requires flexibility for holidays, nights and weekends, with opportunities for development within the company.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to build constructive relationships within store.
• Strong communication with store associates.
• Exercise independent judgment with Store Sales Manager as needed.
• Good working knowledge of general retail practices.
• Able to work a flexible schedule including holidays, nights, weekends.
• Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily store tasks: pricing, shipment processing, fulfillment and inventory.
• Keep the store clean, organized and showcase popular styles.
• Deliver stellar customer engagement and drive the Famous experience.
• Review store performance and help drive sales with clear communication.
• Uphold company policies and integrity in all actions.
• Support training and development for teammates.
• Assist customers with shoe recommendations to ensure best fit.
