Job summary

Caleres in Branson, MO is seeking a full-time Store Manager who loves shoes and delivering the best family shoe store experience. You will lead the store team, drive sales, coach associates, and ensure exceptional customer connections through operational excellence.

You will own daily retail operations, manage staffing, pricing, and inventory, and inspire a culture that values inclusion, growth, and outstanding service.

Qualifications

• Has a High School Diploma/GED.
• Has 1-5 years of retail store management experience, specialty retail preferred.
• Builds constructive and effective relationships within store teams.
• Demonstrates an ability to set objectives and goals and organize work appropriately to meet and exceed goals.
• Displays an ability to lead, manage, motivate, and communicate positively with store Associates at all levels.
• Exhibits ability to train, coach and develop Associates.
• Exercises independent judgment and discretion, partnering with Territory Sales Manager as needed.
• Displays cognitive skills, including problem analysis, decision making, financial and quantitative analysis.
• Demonstrates expertise and proven ability to lead general retail practices and procedures.
• Can work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including holidays, nights, weekends and extended hours.
• Has basic computer skills.
