Job summary

Caleres is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Quakertown, PA. You will lead daily store operations in the store manager’s absence and drive a high‑quality customer experience. You’ll coach and develop a team to meet sales targets while maintaining our brand standards.

You’ll inspire associates with integrity, manage staffing and training, and apply insights to improve results. A key part of your role is building an inclusive culture and ensuring policies are followed while delivering

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of retail or sales experience preferred.
• Experience in interviewing, hiring and training staff.
• Ability to motivate and communicate with store associates at all levels.
• Capable of coaching, developing, and engaging teams to deliver customer experience.
• Uses independent judgment to partner with Store Sales Manager.
• Strong problem solving, analysis, and numerical skills.
• Knowledge of general retail practices and procedures.
• Ability to work flexible schedule including holidays, nights, weekends, and extended hours.
• Basic computer skills required.
