Job summary

Caleres, home to Famous Footwear, is seeking a Sales Associate to deliver exceptional customer experiences. You’ll foster a welcoming store culture, stay informed on trends, and help customers find the perfect styles across our brands.

As a team player, you’ll drive store performance, engage customers, and uphold company standards with integrity while supporting training and developing fellow associates.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED
• Able to build constructive and effective relationships within store
• Demonstrates an ability to communicate positively with store associates at all levels
• Must exercise independent judgment and discretion partnering with Store Sales Manager as needed
• Strong working knowledge of general retail practices and procedures
• Ability to work effectively within a team
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including holidays, nights, weekends and extended hours

Responsibilities

• Ace Retail Operations: handle pricing, shipment processing, fulfillment and inventory, keeping the store clean, organized and easily shoppable.
• Be a Famous Culture Influencer: deliver stellar customer engagement and top-notch experiences powered by attentiveness.
