Job summary

Caleres’ Famous Footwear is seeking a Sales Associate who loves shoes and delivering exceptional customer experiences. You will create a welcoming store environment, engage customers, and drive sales while staying informed about trends and brand offerings.

You will contribute to a positive store culture, support training, and maintain visual standards. A flexible schedule, including holidays and weekends, is expected to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to build constructive relationships with store team and customers.
• Strong communication with store associates at all levels.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment partnering with Store Sales Manager.
• Solid knowledge of general retail practices and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Ace Retail Operations: ensure daily store tasks (pricing, shipment processing, fulfillment and inventory) are dialed in and the store is clean and organized.
• Be a Famous Culture Influencer: provide stellar customer engagement and top-notch experiences.
• Elevate to Your Goal-Crushing Era: review store performance and drive sales with purpose and urgency.
