Job summary

Saronic Technologies is seeking a Production Engineer to ensure robust production support and scale shipyard processes. The role involves integrating new methods, supporting transition to high-volume production, and onboarding automated assets with software and manufacturing teams. On-site training is provided.

You will read blueprints, own root-cause analysis of defects, and collaborate with welders, fitters, electricians, and other trades to maintain efficient workflows.

Qualifications

• Experience translating shipbuilding processes into scalable digital formats.
• Ability to work with software and manufacturing engineering on asset onboarding.
• Strong problem-solving skills to drive yield and reduce rework.

Responsibilities

• Create production processes in unstructured areas of the operational system.
• Support transition from low-rate to high-volume production and implement changes.
• Assist in triage during peak production to maintain workflow efficiency.
• Onboard automated production assets with cross-functional teams to improve software products.
• Lead translation of shipbuilding processes from anecdotal knowledge to digital formats.
