Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, or Systems Engineering or similar.
- 5+ years of experience in industrial facility layout or manufacturing system design.
- Strong understanding of material flow optimization and bottleneck analysis.
Responsibilities
- Develop end-to-end shipyard layouts based on throughput, product mix, and block construction strategy.
- Define building footprints, clear heights, bay sizing, and crane coverage.
- Establish square footage requirements for panel fabrication, sub-assembly, block assembly, and pre-outfitting.
- Develop capacity and throughput models.
- Ensure layouts support automation-first processes.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and finance.
