Job summary

ARMADA INC. in Bremerton, WA is seeking a Technical Planner Trainee to support the planning and execution team.

You will assist in developing work plans, identifying materials, and writing technical work instructions for production and field teams, while gaining on-site experience. This trainee role offers on-the-job learning, exposure to NAVSEA standards, and the chance to obtain structural inspector certification.

Qualifications

• Ability to enter and work in confined spaces.
• Ability to communicate effectively and multi-task.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office programs.

Responsibilities

• Assist planning team to develop work plans and identify technically accurate materials for procurement.
• Write technical work instructions for the production/execution team.
• Conduct on-site reviews of shipboard conditions and maintain documentation.
• Provide accurate work status and support in preparing work packages for production.
• Learn to interpret NAVSEA drawings, standards, and specifications and determine material quantities.
• Assist in obtaining IMIA's structural inspector certification and resolve any technical issues as they arise.
